In continuation of the pressures on the plaintiff families, Safa Aeli, who is Zhina Amini's uncle, was apprehended by Iranian government forces and subsequently transported to an undisclosed location.
 

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization For Human Rights, On Tuesday, August 5, 2023, at noon, Saqqez Intelligence Department forces carried out a raid on the family residence of Safa Aeli, a 30-year-old individual and the younger uncle of Zhina Amini, and apprehended him while instilling an atmosphere of intimidation and panic.
 

According to Hengaw sources, Iranian government forces deployed a convoy of five vehicles filled with personnel to forcibly enter the residence of this citizen in the "Cham Vali Khan" neighborhood. This action took place without the presentation of any legal documentation. Consequently, they apprehended and later transferred him to an undisclosed location.
 

So far, comprehensive information regarding the grounds for Safa Aeli's arrest, the charges filed against him, and his current whereabouts remains unavailable.
 

As we approach the anniversary of Zhina Amini's tragic murder and the Woman, Life, Freedom movement, there has been a notable increase in the pressure exerted by security institutions on the plaintiff families. Based on Hengaw statistics, within the past five months, at least 72 members of these plaintiff families have been arrested by the security institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
