The death penalty for two Baloch inmates, Naser Azbegzehi and Naser Aalizehi, previously sentenced to death for drug trafficking, has been executed in Zahedan Central Prison.

According to reports received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, in the early hours of Thursday, November 30th, 2023, the death penalty for Naser Azbegzehi, 22 years old, and Naser Aalizehi, 27 years old, both residents of Zahedan and fathers of two, was carried out in Zahedan Central Prison.

“Halvash” website has reported that these two prisoners had been detained two years ago on drug trafficking charges and were sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

As of the time of this reporting, the execution of these prisoners has not been officially announced in government media, particularly those closely affiliated with the judiciary.
