Hiva Abdollahi arrested by Iranian authorities in Mahabad

Iranian Intelligence Department forces arrested Hiva Abdollahi, a Kurdish resident of Mahabad, and transferred him to an undisclosed location.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Intelligence Department forces raided Abdollahi’s workplace in Mahabad on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, and arrested him without presenting a warrant.

Authorities have not disclosed the reasons for his arrest, the charges against him, or his current place of detention.
