Prisoner executed in Yasuj Central Prison

Mohammad Zaboli, a Lor from Yasuj, was executed in Yasuj Central Prison. He had previously been convicted of “premeditated murder.” 

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the early hours of Thursday, January 30, 2025, the death sentence of Mohammad Zaboli, a 45-year-old resident of Yasuj, was carried out in Yasuj Central Prison.

A reliable source stated that his execution had been postponed multiple times before finally being enforced. Zaboli was arrested seven years ago and was ultimately sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran on charges of premeditated murder.

As of the time of this report, state-affiliated media, particularly those linked to the judiciary, have not announced his execution.
