Iranian Authorities Arrest Kurdish Journalist Hejar Rahimi; Uncertainty Surrounding His Condition

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, since Saturday, May 25, 2024, Resul (Hejar) Rahimi, a journalist, civil activist, and the editor-in-chief of the news site "Hewal" from Mahabad, has been arrested after being summoned to the intelligence office of this city.
According to informed sources, the efforts of Hejar Rahimi's family to find out his condition and whereabouts have so far been unsuccessful. This individual has previously been summoned and interrogated by security agencies.
