According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Wednesday, July 31, 2024, the death of Heshmat Moradian, 40, was carried out in Yasuj Central Prison.

According to informed sources, this prisoner was arrested three years ago on charges of the premeditated murder of his friend during an altercation and was sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
