Sanandaj; A young woman killed by her husband

A young woman from Sanandaj, named Ayda Heydarian, was killed by her husband with multiple stab wounds. The motive of the killer, who also tried unsuccessfully to commit suicide, is still unclear.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at noon on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, Ayda Heydarian, 31 years old and from Sanandaj, was killed by her husband, Aram Zarei.

The accused, who had a history of violent treatment and beating of his wife, killed the victim with a knife in their home.

It is worth mentioning that Ayda Heydarian was an employee of the Red Crescent Pharmacy in Sanandaj and was threatened and mistreated by the defendant several times in the past few years.

Hengaw has been informed that Aram Zarei attempted to commit suicide after killing his wife with a knife, and after being treated at the hospital, he was arrested and taken to prison.
