Death Sentence of a Prisoner Carried Out in Zahedan Prison

The death sentence of a Baloch prisoner named Barakat Ali Sanjrani was carried out in the central prison of Zahedan. This prisoner had previously been sentenced to death on charges of premeditated murder.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the early hours of Monday, August 26, 2024, the death sentence of Barakat Ali Sanjrani, a 25-year-old prisoner from Zahedan, was carried out in the central prison of the city.

Haalvsh news agency reported that Barakat Ali Sanjrani had been arrested four years ago on charges of "premeditated murder" and was sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
