Two Prisoners Executed in Tabriz Central Prison

The death sentence of two Turkish prisoners, identified as Hossein Salehi and Morteza Seifzadeh, who had previously been sentenced to death on drug-related charges, was carried out in Tabriz Central Prison.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights, at down on Saturday, August 3, 2024, the death sentences of Hossein Salehi, 30, from Hashtrud, and Morteza Seifzadeh, 37, from Tabriz, were carried out in Tabriz Central Prison.
According to informed sources, these two prisoners were arrested in connection with a joint case involving drug-related charges and were subsequently sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
As of the time of this report, the news of the execution of these two prisoners has not been announced in the Iranian state media, especially those associated with the judiciary.
