Iranian Security Forces Arrest Baha’i Adherent Matin Fahandej Saadi in Kerman

Matin Fahandej Saadi, a Baha'i adherent living in Kerman, has been arrested by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps intelligence forces of this city and taken to an undisclosed location.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, August 5, 2024, a 34-year-old Baha'i adherent named Metin Fahandej Saadi, a resident of Kerman, was arrested by the IRGC intelligence forces in this city at his father's workplace and taken to an undisclosed location.

According to informed sources, following the arrest of Matin Fahandej Saadi, IRGC intelligence forces raided his workplace. They searched and confiscated several personal belongings, including communication devices and the building's CCTV cameras.

To date, no information has been disclosed regarding the charges against this Baha'i adherent, and his family's efforts to obtain details have been unsuccessful.
