A Kurdish man named Rahman Ghaderi was taken to an undisclosed location by Iranian security forces, and his whereabouts remain unknown.

According to the report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, August 12, 2024, Rahman Ghaderi, a 25-year-old resident of Andizeh village in Piranshahr, West Azerbaijan (Urmia) province, was transferred to an unknown location after being summoned to the Iranian Intelligence Office in the city.

According to reports, the family's efforts to obtain information about his fate have been unsuccessful, as Iranian security institutions have declined to provide a definitive response.

It is important to note that Rahman Ghaderi had previously been summoned by this security institution and subjected to interrogation.

As of now, detailed information regarding his whereabouts, the charges against him, the reasons for his arrest, and his current status has not been disclosed.
