The Death Sentence of a Baloch Prisoner Carried Out in Bandar Abbas Prison

The death sentence of a 60-year-old Baloch prisoner, identified as Hamidreza Hasanzehi Sani, who had previously been sentenced to death on drug-related charges, was carried out in Bandar Abbas Central Prison.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, the death sentence of Hamidreza Hasanzehi Sani, a 60-year-old resident of Zahedan, was carried out in Bandar Abbas Central Prison.
Informed sources stated that Hamidreza Hasanzehi Sani, a father of eight, was arrested three years ago in Rudan, Hormozgan province, and was later sentenced to death by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court in Bandar Abbas.
It is worth noting that Hamidreza Hasanzehi Sani was transferred to solitary confinement on Sunday, and his family had their final visit with him yesterday.
To date, the news of the execution of this prisoner has not been announced in Iranian state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
