The death sentence of a prisoner from Mashhad, named Mohsen Safari, who had previously been sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary for the charge of "premeditated murder," was carried out in Isfahan Central Prison.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution of Mohsen Safari, a prisoner from Mashhad, was carried out at dawn on Monday, September 16, 2024, in Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd Prison).

According to informed sources, this prisoner had previously been arrested on the charge of premeditated murder and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
