Iran Carries Out the Death Sentence of a Prisoner in Zahedan Central Prison

The death sentence of a Baloch prisoner named Emanullah Nahtani, who had previously been sentenced to death on charges related to drug crimes, was carried out in Zahedan Central Prison.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Thursday, September 26, 2024, the death sentence of Emanullah Nahtani, a 41-year-old father of five from Zabol in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, was carried out in Zahedan Central Prison.
According to the news outlet Haalvsh, this prisoner had been arrested five years ago on charges related to drugs and had been sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
