Iran: Prisoner executed in Jiroft Central Prison

The death sentence of a Baloch prisoner, identified as Younes Akhtar Samer, was carried out in Jiroft Central Prison, located in Kerman Province. He had previously been sentenced to death on charges of “premeditated murder.”

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution took place at dawn on Monday, October 14, 2024.

As reported by the Baloch Activists Campaign, Younes Akhtar Samer had been arrested and subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This execution has not yet been officially announced by state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
