Landmine explosions on Iran’s border injure two Baloch Sukhtbars

Two Baloch Sukhtbars (fuel carriers), Aref Shahnawazi and Mobin Shahnawazi, were severely injured following a landmine explosion near the Rutak border in Mirjaveh, Sistan and Baluchestan Province.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Friday, October 18, 2024, Aref and Mobin Shahnawazi, both residents of Mirjaveh, were injured by a landmine planted by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the Rutak border.

The Haalvsh news outlet reported that Aref Shahnawazi sustained leg injuries, while Mobin Shahnawazi suffered injuries to his hand. Both were transported to medical facilities for treatment.
