Golshan – IRGC landmine kills 18-year-old Baloch Sukhtbar, injures another

A landmine planted by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the border area of Kalgon, Golshan County, Sistan and Balochistan Province, has killed 18-year-old Baloch sukhtbar (fuel carrier) Ghodous Gomshadzahi and injured another fuel carrier whose identity is still being verified.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, Gomshadzahi, a resident of Saravan County, was killed when a landmine detonated on the Patkoki motorcycle road in the Kalgon border area. Another fuel carrier, also with the surname Gomshadzahi, sustained serious injuries in the same incident.
Local outlet Haalvsh reported that the two fuel carriers were traveling by motorcycle along the Patkoki road when they struck the mine, leading to the death of the 18-year-old and severely injuring the other man.
