Landmine Explosion Claimed the Life of a Baloch Fuel Carrier in Iran

Iqbal Rigi, a Baloch fuel carrier from Khash, a district of Sistan and Baluchestan, lost his life due to a landmine explosion planted by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Sunday, October 13, 2024, Iqbal Rigi, a 21-year-old Baloch fuel carrier from Khash, was killed by a landmine explosion while transporting fuel in the border area of Saravan.

As reported by the Haal Vash news outlet, this fuel carrier died on Sunday evening while transporting fuel in the border region of Mak Sookhteh, part of the Bamposht district of Saravan, due to a landmine planted by the IRGC.
