Baloch man killed in landmine explosion in Mirjaveh

Hasan Shahnavazi, a Baloch man from Mirjaveh, Sistan-Baluchestan province, was killed in a landmine explosion planted by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
According to reports received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, January 25, 2025, Hasan Shahnavazi, a 30-year-old resident of Mirjaveh, lost his life due to a landmine explosion in the border area of Rutek.
Shahnavazi was riding his motorcycle to irrigate farmland when he unknowingly entered a mined area. The absence of warning signs in the region made the danger undetectable.
The explosion inflicted severe injuries on Shahnavazi, and he was immediately transported to Razi Hospital in Saravan. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries due to their critical nature.
