Two teenage Baloch Sukhtbars injured by landmine on Rutak Border

Two teenge Baloch Sukhtbars, Shahran Shahnavazi, 17, and Ali Shahnavazi, 16, were seriously injured by a landmine explosion in the Rutak border area of Mirjaveh, Sistan- Balouchestan Province, an area where the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has reportedly planted mines.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, On Monday, October 28, 2024, the two teenagers from “Gasht” in Saravan were injured in a landmine explosion while transporting fuel. The explosion caused severe injuries to their neck and hand.
Haalvsh news outlet reported that the landmine was an IRGC anti-personnel device. Following the incident, Mirjaveh Post 122 border forces beat the two young Baloch Sukhtbars and set their vehicle on fire.
