According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, the death sentence of a Turkmen prisoner, identified as Armin Aghcheli, was carried out in Gorgan Central Prison.

According to informed sources, this prisoner had been arrested in 2019 on drug-related charges and was later sentenced to death by the Islamic Republic of Iran judiciary.
