Four Baha’i adherents arrested in Shiraz

Four Baha’i adherents, including two women, have been arrested by Intelligence Ministry of Islamic Republic of Iran in Shiraz, Fars Province.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the arrests took place over two days. On Monday morning, November 11, 2024, intelligence agents arrested Baha’i activists Rozita Eslami and Elham Haghighatjou.
The previous day, Sunday, November 10, 2024, activists Vahid Sabet and Vahid Masoumi were also arrested by the same forces.
Reports indicate that the four detained individuals have been transferred to the Intelligence Ministry’s detention center in Shiraz, known as “Plaque 100.”
In addition to the arrests, intelligence agents reportedly conducted searches of the detainees’ homes, seizing electronic devices and personal belongings.
