Death sentence of prisoner carried out in Arak Central Prison

The death sentence of Ashkan Asgari, a prisoner from Khomein previously convicted of premeditated murder, was carried out in Arak Central Prison.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, early on Sunday, November 3, 2024, Ashkan Asgari, aged 29 and from Khomein, was executed in Arak Central Prison.
Hengaw sources indicate that approximately three years ago, Ashkan Asgari was arrested on charges of muder and subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
As of this report's release, the execution has not been announced in state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
