Number of executions in Khorramabad Central Prison rise to thre

The death sentence of Mohammad Amiri-Bahrouvand, a 32-year-old prisoner from Andimeshk in Khuzestan Province, was carried out in Khorramabad Central Prison (Parsilon Prison). Amiri-Bahrouvand had been previously sentenced to death for the charge of “premeditated murder.” Hengaw had earlier reported the execution of two other prisoners in the same prison.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Thursday, January 16, 2025, Mohammad Amiri-Bahrouvand was executed at Khorramabad Central Prison. He had been detained for the past four years on charges of murdering a relative and was sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Hengaw had previously reported the execution of two other prisoners at the same facility. Rashid Zeynabi, a 36-year-old Lur from Borujerd and father of one child, and Saman Davoudian, a 33-year-old Kurd from Khorramabad.

Both had also been charged with “premeditated murder” and sentenced to death.

To date, the news of the execution of these prisoners has not been announced by state media or those affiliated with the judiciary.
