Security forces arrest Kurdish man in Sanandaj

Farhad Menbari, a 32-year-old Kurdish resident of Niar village near Sanandaj (Sine), has been arrested by security forces of Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Menbari was arrested on Monday, January 13, 2025, by officers of the Ministry of Intelligence in Eghbal Square, Sanandaj.

The arrest was reportedly conducted without the presentation of an arrest warrant.
