Security forces arrest Kurdish man in Naqadeh

Ayoub Armand, a 35-year-old Kurdish resident of Naqadeh, has been arrested by the city’s Intelligence Department forces during a violent raid on his home. 

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Armand was arrested on Thursday, January 16, 2025. He is married and the father of two children. 

A reliable source disclosed that security forces arrested Armand without presenting an arrest warrant and used excessive force during the operation, including physical assault.
