Three Prisoners executed in Shiraz Central Prison

Three prisoners, identified as Farrokh Nasiri, Mansour Qolizadeh, and Payam Cheraghi, were executed at Shiraz Central Prison. They had been convicted for "premeditated murder."
According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the executions took place in the early hours of Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Farrokh Nasiri, aged 40, and Payam Cheraghi, aged 36, both residents of Najafabad in Isfahan Province, were executed alongside Mansour Qolizadeh, a resident of Rafsanjan in Kerman Province.
Farrokh Nasiri and Payam Cheraghi were arrested four years ago in connection with a joint case of premeditated murder and were subsequently sentenced to death. Similarly, Mansour Qolizadeh, who had been in detention for three years, was convicted of a murder reportedly linked to so-called "honor issues" and also received the death penalty.
As of the time of this report, the executions have not been publicly announced by state-affiliated media or judiciary-linked outlets.
