Death sentence of prisoner carried out in Ganaveh Central Prison

The death sentence of a Lor prisoner named Peyman Bahmanyari, a 42-year-old resident of Ganaveh in Bushehr Province, who had previously been convicted of premeditated murder, was carried out in Ganaveh Central Prison.

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution was carried out at dawn on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

Informed sources stated that Peyman Bahmanyari had been arrested five years ago on murder charges and was subsequently sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
