Security forces arrest Kurdish man in Sanandaj

Danish Sharafi, a Kurdish man from Sanandaj (Sine), was arrested by security forces three days ago.

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, February 2, 2025, 37-year-old Danish Sharafi, a resident of Salavatabad village near Sanandaj, was detained and taken to an unknown location. His fate remains unknown.

Sources report that security forces arrested Sharafi at his workplace, a mobile phone shop, without presenting an arrest warrant, before transferring him to an undisclosed facility.

As of the time of this report, no information has been provided regarding the reasons for his arrest, or the charges against him.
