Kurdish artist arrested in Sanandaj; his fate remains unknown

Salar Saeedmocheshi, a Kurdish painter and resident of Sanandaj (Sine), was arrested by security forces in the city and transferred to an undisclosed location. Four days have passed, and there is still no information about his fate.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, February 3, 2025, Salar Saeedmocheshi, a 26-year-old painter from Sanandaj, was arrested during a raid by the Intelligence Department on his family home in the Neysar neighborhood and was taken to an undisclosed location. Four days later, there is still no information about his fate.
According to informed sources, security forces arrested him without presenting any judicial warrant and transferred him to an undisclosed location.
