Two prisoners executed in Arak and Shiraz Prisons

Two prisoners, Saeed Jokar and Hadi Farahani, were executed in Arak and Shiraz prisons.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Sunday, February 16, 2025, Hadi Farahani, who had been previously convicted of premeditated murder, was executed in Arak Central Prison.

On the same day, the execution of Saeed Jokar, a resident of Khafr County, Fars Province, was also carried out in Adelabad Prison in Shiraz on similar charges.

As of the time of this report, Iranian state-affiliated media, particularly those linked to the judiciary, have not announced the executions of these two prisoners.
