The Intelligence Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in collaboration with the Public Places Supervision Office, has threatened hall and venue owners in cities of Kurdistan regarding the use of "Jamaneh" and "Khaki Clothing" by attendees.

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Iran Intelligence Ministry has recently exerted pressure on public venues and managers of event halls in various Kurdish cities, warning them against allowing attendees to wear "Jamaneh" and "Khaki Clothing" during ceremonies.

Hengaw’s sources in Sanandaj have reported that in the past month, one hall was sealed for three weeks and another for two weeks. Their managers were severely warned that if ceremonies featuring these two symbols were held, their venues would be shut down for an extended period.

In early December, at least 58 Kurdish individuals in Mahabad, Bukan, and Piranshahr—including family members of those killed in the "Jin, Jiyan, Azadi" movement—were summoned to judicial authorities after attending a wedding where they wore "Jamaneh" and "Khaki Clothing." The authorities accused them of "symbolism."

Following these summonses and legal cases, videos have surfaced over the past month from weddings in various Kurdish cities, including Sanandaj, Bukan, Mahabad, Piranshahr, and Oshnavieh (Shino), showing attendees wearing "Jamaneh" and "Khaki Clothing" in solidarity with those who were summoned.
