Prisoner executed in Ahvaz Central Prison

The death sentence of a Lor prisoner named Ebrahim Khosheh, from Behbahan, Khuzestan Province, was carried out in Ahvaz Central Prison (Sheyban).

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Monday, February 24, 2025, Ebrahim Khosheh, 42 years old, from Karimabad village near Behbahan, was executed in Sheyban Prison, Ahvaz. He was married and had two children, aged 18 and 12.

An informed source reported that Khosheh had been arrested ten years ago on charges of premeditated murder and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary.

As of the time of this report, state-affiliated media, particularly those linked to the judiciary, have not announced this execution.
