According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Sunday, February 23, 2025, Mohammadreza Rezaei, 38, a resident of Poldokhtar, was executed in Khorramabad Central Prison.

A source close to the prisoner's family told Hengaw that Mohammadreza Rezaei had been arrested two years ago on charges of "premeditated murder" and sentenced to death by the judiciary of Islamic Republic of Iran.
