Abol Korkor, a protester from the Jin, Jiyan, Azadi (Woman, Life, Freedom) movement, along with Reza Abdollahzadeh (Adol), Sohrab Ahmadi, and Hossein Mehri, were surrounded by IRGC forces after being pursued for a long time. So far, Abol Korkor has ended his life by shooting himself, while the fate of the three other protesters remains unknown.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Saturday, March 8, 2025, Abol Korkor, a protester from Izeh, ended his life by shooting himself after more than two years in hiding while under siege.

Shortly afterward, Reza Abdollahzadeh, Sohrab Ahmadi—who is a relative of Kamar Tahmasebi, a protester killed by state security forces—and Hossein Mehri, were shot at their hiding place as they were preparing to surrender.

Minutes later, a powerful explosion occurred in the house, located in the Koshtargah neighborhood on Shahid Esfandiar Ouraki Street in Izeh. The fate of the three protesters remains unclear.

Just minutes after Abol Korkor's suicide, severe internet disruptions were reported across the city of Izeh.

Additionally, according to some reports, shortly after the attack by the Islamic Republic of Iran's forces on the protesters' hiding place, Police Station No. 12 in Izeh was attacked.
