Prisoner Mohammad Tavakoli executed in Jiroft Central Prison

The death sentence of a prisoner named Mohammad Tavakoli, who had been previously convicted of premeditated murder, was carried out in Jiroft Prison, Kerman Province.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mohammad Tavakoli, a resident of Anbarabad, Kerman, was executed in Jiroft Central Prison on on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Mohammad Tavakoli had been arrested three years ago on charges of murder and was ultimately sentenced to death.

To date, the news of his execution has not been published by state media, particularly outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
