Two prisoners executed in Aghosbon Prison, Amol

The death sentences of Arsalan Pasha and Jalal Shahsavar, were carried out simultaneously in Aghosbon Prison, Amol. They had been convicted of premeditated murder

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, March 1, 2025, Arsalan Pasha, 30, from Rudbardasht, Amol County, and Jalal Shahsavar, 58, from Amol, Mazandaran Province, were executed in Aghosbon Prison.

Informed sources stated that both prisoners had been arrested three years ago in separate cases and were subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary for premeditated murder.

As of the time of this report, state-affiliated media, particularly those linked to the judiciary, have not announced these executions.
