Death sentence of two prisoners carried out in Aligudarz Central Prison

Two Lor prisoners, Shahram Goudarzi and Taher Shaabani, who were previously arrested on charges of "premeditated murder," were executed in Aligudarz Central Prison.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the death sentences of Taher Shaabani, 35, from Borujerd, and Shahram Goudarzi, 36, from Aligudarz, were carried out in the city's central prison on Monday, April 7, 2025.

Taher Shaabani and Shahram Goudarzi were arrested four years ago and five years ago, respectively. They were charged with "premeditated murder" in separate cases and sentenced to death by the Islamic Republic of Iran's judicial system.

As of the time of writing this report, news of the execution of the two prisoners has not been announced in government media, especially media related to the judiciary.
