Three Prisoners, including a Baloch and two Lors, executed in Yazd Central Prison

The death sentences of three prisoners—Vahid Narouei, Yarwali Mahmoodvand, and Rashid Seyedzadeh—previously convicted in separate drug-related cases, were carried out in Yazd Central Prison.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, the death sentences of two Lor prisoners, Yarwali Mahmoodvand from Khorramabad and Rashid Seyedzadeh from Aligudarz in Lorestan province, as well as one Baloch prisoner, Vahid Narouei from Zahedan, were carried out in Yazd Central Prison.

Sources familiar with the case reported that Vahid Narouei and Yaroli Mahmoodvand had been imprisoned for five years, and Rashid Seyedzadeh for four years, all on separate charges related to drugs. They were each sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

To date, the news of the execution of these prisoners has not been announced by state media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
