Nehbandan: 18-year-old Baloch man fatally shot by state forces

Navid Zarouei Baloch (also known as Zarouzehi), an 18-year-old resident of the village of Khajeh-Dochahi in Nehbandan, South Khorasan Province, was fatally shot by Iranian state forces.

According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the incident occurred on Sunday, May 25, 2025. State forces opened fire directly on four young men who were riding two motorcycles along a dirt road near their village.

The forces fired without issuing any prior warning or stop signal. Zarouei was struck in the chest and died at the scene.
