Two Baloch men shot dead by Iranian forces in Sistan and Baluchestan

Nader Gomshadzehi and Hossein Khashi Kamalabadi, two Baloch men, were killed in separate incidents after Iranian forces opened direct fire on them in the counties of Golshan and Khash, Sistan and Baluchestan province.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Gomshadzehi, from Jihadabad village in Saravan County, died on Friday, July 31, 2026, after spending three days in the intensive care unit at Saravan Hospital due to the severity of the injuries he sustained.

He had been critically wounded on Wednesday, July 29, when Iranian Border Guard forces opened direct fire at the Bachehrahi crossing in Kalegan rural district, Golshan County. He was transferred to hospital following the shooting.

In a separate incident on the morning of Friday, July 31, Khashi Kamalabadi, a 23-year-old from Khash, was shot in the head after special police units of the Iranian Law Enforcement Command (Faraja) opened direct fire on Khomeini Street in Khash. He died before reaching hospital. His body was laid to rest on Saturday, August 1.

During the same incident, another man accompanying Khashi Kamalabadi, identified only by the surname Hosseinzehi, was arrested by Iranian forces. No reliable information is available regarding his whereabouts or condition.
