Iranian forces violently arrest Baloch blogger Mohsen Dashti in Konarak

Mohsen Dashti, a 32-year-old Baloch blogger and social media activist from Sarbaz County, was arrested by Iranian security forces following a raid on his home in the Naserabad area of Konarak, Sistan and Baluchestan province. He was taken to an undisclosed location.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Iranian security forces surrounded Dashti's home on Sunday, August 3, 2026, then stormed the residence without presenting a warrant or any judicial authorization. The agents used violence during the raid, searched the house, and confiscated his wife's mobile phone.
Despite repeated inquiries by his family, no information has been provided regarding his whereabouts, the authority responsible for his detention, or the charges against him.
Dashti is a Baloch blogger and media activist who has repeatedly reported on and criticized the structural discrimination faced by the Baloch community, as well as the region's economic and social conditions.
