Behrouz Baharvand executed in Khorramabad on murder charges

Behrouz Baharvand, a Lor prisoner convicted of premeditated murder, was executed in Khorramabad Central Prison.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution took place on May 13, 2025.

Baharvand, a resident of Khorramabad, had been sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary following his arrest on murder charges.

As of Thursday, the execution has not been reported by Iranian state media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
