Qazvin: Home of Baha’i woman Golriz Nourani raided by security forces, belongings confiscated

The private residence of Golriz Nourani, a Baha’i resident of Qazvin, was raided by agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s security forces, who also confiscated several personal belongings.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the afternoon of Saturday, June 21, 2025, agents from the Ministry of Intelligence stormed the home of Golriz Nourani, a 39-year-old computer specialist, and conducted a full search.
The agents seized several electronic devices, including her mobile phone, along with books related to the Baha’i faith.
This is not the first time Nourani and her family have been targeted. On August 9, 2022, security forces also raided their home, confiscating digital devices, Baha’i religious literature, jewelry, and personal photographs belonging to her and her husband, Mehrzad Zehraei—also a follower of the Baha’i faith
