Two prisoners executed on drug charges in Isfahan and Shirvan

The death sentences of two prisoners, including a Lor man named Peyman Jalalian and another person, Shirzad Fahimi—both previously convicted on drug-related charges—were carried out in Shirvan and Dastgerd prisons.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, the execution of Jalalian, a 30-year-old from Boumehen, Tehran, was carried out in Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan.
Separately, on Sunday, June 8, 2025, Fahimi, a 33-year-old from Borujerd, was executed in Shirvan Central Prison.
Both prisoners had been arrested three years earlier in separate cases on drug-related charges and were later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
News of these executions has not been published by state media, including outlets affiliated with Iran’s judiciary.
