Javad Mohammadi executed in Khorramabad Prison

The death sentence of Javad Mohammadi, a Lor prisoner previously convicted of “homicide,” was carried out at Khorramabad Central Prison.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the early hours of Monday, June 16, 2025, Mohammadi, a resident of Khorramabad, was executed.

He had been arrested on charges of premeditated murder and sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The execution has not been announced by state-controlled media, including those affiliated with the judiciary.
