Isfahan—Baha’i adherent Navid Tashakor arrested, Whereabouts unknown

Navid Tashakor, a Baha’i resident of Isfahan, has been arrested by agents of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence. More than three days after his detention, no information has been made available regarding his condition or whereabouts.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Tashakor was detained on Sunday, June 22, 2025, in the Baharestan district of Isfahan. Intelligence agents searched his home and confiscated electronic devices belonging to him and his family.

Notably, Tashakor had previously been arrested on June 15, 2025, at his workplace—along with several colleagues—on accusations of “suspicious activity.” He was released the following day after being cleared of all charges.

No formal charges have been announced, and his legal status and location remain unknown.
