Execution of Majid Rahmani carried out in Sepidar Prison, Ahvaz

The death sentence of an Arab prisoner, Majid Rahmani, from Masjed Soleyman in Khuzestan Province, was carried out in Sepidar Prison in Ahvaz. He had been convicted of “premeditated murder” by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Rahmani, 35, was executed at dawn on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
He had been arrested four years ago on charges of premeditated murder and was subsequently sentenced to death.
The execution has not been announced by state-run media or judiciary-affiliated outlets.
