Kerman – Baloch man Amir Mirbaluchzehi dies from police gunfire injuries

Amir Mirbaluchzehi, a 27-year-old Baloch man from Khash in Sistan and Baluchestan province, has died in a hospital in Kerman, ten days after being shot by Iranian police forces. 

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mirbaluchzehi lost his life on Friday, July 18, 2025, after being hospitalized in critical condition. 

The human rights platform Haalvsh reported that Mirbaluchzehi was shot without warning by police forces while exiting an oil change shop with his vehicle on Taleghani Street in Khash. 

No official explanation has been provided regarding the reason for the shooting or whether any charges had been brought against Mirbaluchzehi at the time of the incident.
