Iranian authorities execute Abdolamir Hasangol in Dezful Central Prison

Iranian authorities have carried out the execution of Abdolamir Hasangol, an Arab prisoner from Dezful, in Dezful Central Prison. He had been convicted of premeditated murder.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Hasangol was executed at dawn on Thursday, August 21, 2025.

Sources confirmed that he had been arrested five years earlier on murder charges and later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

State media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary, have not reported the execution.
